used the BREG machine to very good effect. better cooling and compression controlled swelling and pain very well. first 3 weeks kept step count and leg elevation controlled. better range of motion and sleeping too!

Excellent outcome with Dr. Wickline’s program and the Breg Polar Wave Ice and Compression machine Dr. Wickline is doing research with was the critical piece in my recovery. Couldn’t have done it without that machine (no narcotics)!!

he explained everything in detail & listened to my concerns. The book is very helpful & keeps you on track with your exercises & recovery. The Bregg cooling system that Dr Wickline recommends is extremely helpful with its constant cooling & compression. I would highly recommend Dr. Wickline.

Dr. Wickline did a good job of explaining what to expect. His videos and booklet did a great job of letting me know what was going to happen and what was normal. I purchased the Breg Cool Wave and it was well worth it. Between the icing and the compression it provided, I feel it really helped keep the swelling and pain down. I wish I had gotten a step counter/fit bit as it was hard to keep track of how many steps I was taking (sloppy counting on my part.) The Iovera treatment was well worth it and I think it was critical in controlling my pain. I only used 2 oxycontins the entire time. My pain was mostly well controlled by the Celebrex and Extra Strength Tylenol. I’m very pleased with the results. My knee is working well and no longer hurts!

Dr. was very kind and took his time to answer all my questions and met all my expectations. The ice machine was such a positve experience. The only holdback is the velcro wears out and doesn”t stay. I ended up using a scarf to keep it tight..

From the initial diagnosis through surgery and post treatment, I had the best care imaginable. The Breg Ice machine should be a mandate instead of an option. It was that important for an easier recovery and post treatment for swelling and comfort. Iovera treatment is also highly recommended prior to surgery.

it was better than expected, get a ice machine and go buy the book,dont go over the step count and do the exercises

between the pain blocking pre op procedures and the booklet, the breg machine and in home PT, this was so much easier and pain free than i thought it would be

Dr. Wickline is the best! My recovery has been ahead of schedule and the Breg Ice mach. was worth its weight in gold. The Breg mach made it so much easier than ice bag alone, the compression was important. I would do it all over again!!!
